Participating in Chicago’s Version Festival was the main goal of the trip by 12 students and 4 teachers of the master of fine arts course of the Academy of Art and Design St. Joost (AKV St. Joost) in the cities of Den Bosch and Breda, the Netherlands.
Version is an annual springtime arts festival in Chicago. This 10th edition of Version (titled ‘Territories and Infrastructures’) took 11 days throughout different locations, primarily in the Bridgeport area.
MFA St. Joost participated for the 3rd time in Version (earlier we participated in 2004 and 2005).
Next to Version Festival we undertook lots of other activities, such as studio visits, work presentations and talks.
